How he became a martyr:
On August 4, at 11 a.m., students organized a peaceful assembly at Feni Mohipal, advocating for their single-point demand. After performing prayers on the street at 1:20 p.m., they resumed the assembly. At that moment, armed members of Chhatra League attacked the students with modern weapons. During the chaos, Istiak Ahmed Srabon was fatally shot and collapsed on the street. Despite efforts to move him to a safe location, he succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward. His body bore five bullet wounds.
Personal Life:
Istiak Ahmed Srabon, a science student at Feni Government College, was born in 2004 in Barahipur village, Feni, Chattogram. He was the eldest child of Nesar Ahmed and Fatema Akter, with one younger brother and sister. Srabon completed his primary education at Shishu Niketan Primary School on Trunk Road, earning a GPA-5. He continued his studies at Feni Government Pilot High School, passing SSC in 2021, and subsequently enrolled at Feni Government College.
